Knitty Gritty

I have been working with yarn a lot lately so I have created a Ravelry account and am going to try tracking the details of my projects on there!  I'm pretty excited about the simplicity and versatility of the Shirl's Mittlet's pattern I picked up at LK Yarns back in January.  This was my first attempt at thumb gussets and cable patterns and the pattern walked me through it like butter!  Thank you to the gals at LK who helped with everything from selecting the pattern, yarn and needles to casting on extra stitches across the thumb opening - y'all rock!!
