Steven Horne: Upcoming Herb and Natural Health Classes

February is here and Steven Horne's School of Modern Herbal
Medicine has more opportunities for you to learn about natural
healing.  Here are this month's classes.

Balancing Hormones
It isn't just about menopause anymore...
Webinar with Kimberly Balas, ND
February 18, March 11, March 25
8:30 Easter, 7:30 Central, 6:30 Mountain and 5:30 Pacific time

Hormones play a vital role in our overall health.  These powerful
chemical messengers circulate through your blood stream,
generating a wide range of cellular and emotional responses.
The balance of hormones impacts every major organ and system
in your body. Every time you get angry, become tired, laugh, cry,
have sex, wake up, feel hungry, or fall asleep your body is
responding to hormones.

Health requires a delicate balance and the body has the innate
wisdom to try to maintain that balance.  Part of this involves
constantly adjusting hormone levels and ratios.  Weight gain,
depression, PMS and symptoms associated with menopause are
alarms telling us that this hormonal balance is off.

Researchers have found that a decrease or imbalance in hormones
plays an important role in the aging process. Increasing hormonal
imbalance ultimately impairs muscle development, sexual function,
sleep patterns and various brain functions, including memory.  So,
as your hormones become increasingly imbalanced it reduces your
verall sense of well-being.  It also puts you at a higher risk for
cardiovascular problems, osteoporosis and other diseases associated
with aging.

In some women, this imbalance becomes so severe they can barely
get out of bed! We're all different — and we love that because it makes
life much more interesting— but it also means that your biochemistry
is unique.  So just as you have your unique life history and path, so
your path to hormonal balance will be unique.

Learn how to balance your own hormones in this special three webinar
class taught by Kimberly Balas, ND.  You'll learn to understand hormones,
read saliva hormone reports and know how to improve hormonal balance
so you can help yourself and others to greater health.

Tree of Light's Associate
Program Webinars

Tree of Light has an Associate program with three different webinar
topics each month.  Associates can download handouts and
recordings for each webinar (and all past webinars) from the member area.
They can also download the PowerPoint presentations to modify and use in
teaching their own classes.

In addition to the three webinars and access to the member archives,
members obtain discounts on all Tree of Light courses, books and other
materials. Learn more about becoming an associate.

Here are the upcoming webinars for Tree of Light's Associate program:

February 13, 2013: Business Coaching
Begin with the End in Mind

Remember when you were young? Most of us when we're young have
lots of hopes and dreams.  For many of us, however, the setbacks we
suffer in life cause us to lose our hopes and dreams.  This webinar is
about finding your hopes and dreams, again, and how you turn them
into achievements and successes.  More importantly, it's about discovering
your life vision and pursing your unique life purpose.

February 19 and 20, 2013: Busting the Cholesterol Myth
People have been brainwashed to believe that heart disease is
caused by eating too much saturated fat and cholesterol.  It's a myth,
that is not backed up by good science.  In this webinar, we'll be busting
that myth and telling you the truth about cholesterol, the hazards of
statin drugs and the real causes of heart disease. February 19 we'll have
Kimberly Balas as our special guest for the Nature's Sunshine version
of this webinar and Thomas Easley will join us on the 20th for the
generic version of this program.

March 4, 2013: Restoring a State of Grace
If you watch wild animals you'll see that their movements are graceful
and flowing. So are the movements of happy young children.  As we
grow older we lose this grace as our body stores more and more trauma
in tense, locked muscles.  Emotional healing is about unfreezing this
trauma from the body and restoring it back to its original graceful state.
This also takes the person's psyche away from a state of shame, fear and
guilt and into a state of grace, happiness, trust, joy and peace.

Cost for the program is just $19.95 per month and your first month is free.
Visit treelite.com for more information or call 800-416-2887 to enroll.

Free Webinar Series: Prophecy and Preparedness

This is a series of webinars Steven will be doing this year on
his understanding of what is about to happen in the world
based on his understanding of prophesy and personal spiritual insights.
We will start off looking at what the future may hold for us and then
discuss what we can do to be spiritually and physically prepared.

Because of the spiritual nature of these webinars Steven decided

FYI: Webinar Series: Herbs for the Digestive System

A note from Steven Horne:

I've been reviewing the material Thomas Easley
has put together for next Tuesday's webinar on
Leaky Gut and Small Intestinal Bacterial
Overgrowth (SIBO).

It is absolutely outstanding—probably one of the
most important classes we've ever put together.

If you have any kind of chronic health problems
or work with people with any kind of chronic
health problems, this webinar will provide you
with critical information as to what may be the
root cause of these problems.

I've long realized that gut health was essential
to overall good health, but this webinar really
spells out why gut health issues cause so many
other health problems AND what to do to fix it.

We've extended the deadline to register at the
price of just $20 until Friday to give more people
an opportunity to participate.  I guarantee it will
be $20 well spent.  Remember, if you can't attend
the live webinar, you can still register and you'll
be able to get the recording (as well as some
incredible handouts and notes).

Register today by going to:

You can also call us at 800-416-2887.

Also, if you register for Module 9 of our Advanced
Herbal Training Program (Herbs for the Digestive
System), you can attend this webinar for free.  This
module of our Advanced Herbal Training program

If you have any questions or problems
with the class, please feel free to contact

Upcoming Herb and Natural Health Classes from Steven Horne

In the spirit of the holidays, our gift to you this month is two
free webinars.  Plus, we've got some great classes starting in
January.

Free Webinar:
Assessing Digestive Health Problems

Free webinar with Steven Horne and Thomas Easley
Dec 18, 9:30 Easter, 8:30 Central, 6:30 Mountain and 5:30 Pacific time

Digestive problems are the root cause of many people's health problems
because the digestive system is the first system to take a hit from poor
nutrition. For starters, problems with the gastrointestinal (GI) tract are
usually the root cause of respiratory problems like allergies, asthma and
sinus congestion. Since 70% of the innate immune system is concentrated
in the GI tract, immune problems like yeast infections, frequent colds and
flu, autoimmune disorders and even cancer can also have their roots in
the digestive system.

The GI tract is also home of the enteric nervous system, which strongly
affects mood, which means depression, anxiety and other chronic
mood problems often have links to digestive health.  Even chronic diseases
like arthritis, diabetes and osteoporosis usually require healing the GI tract
in order to see improvement.

In this webinar, we'll show you how to assess digestive tract problems
using tools like iridology, tongue analysis and overall symptom pictures
to figure out what's going wrong with digestion.  We'll also provide a
basic overview of what's needed to correct these problems.

This free webinar is a preview for Module Eight of our Advanced Herbal
Training program, Herbs for the Digestive System.  We'll also be doing a
special webinar on Leaky Gut Syndrome in January as a follow-up to this
topic.

Join us and learn how to improve your health by correcting your
digestive system problems.

Free Webinar:
Trauma Recovery: A Model for Healing

Free webinar taught by Steven Horne
January 3, 2013, 8:30 Easter, 7:30 Central, 6:30 Mountain and 5:30 Pacific time

I've got some bad news and some good news.  First, the bad news.  None of us
get through life without experiencing some form of trauma.  The good news is
that we have built-in instinctive mechanisms for recovering from trauma.
Just as the body has the innate capacity to heal a cut or repair a broken bone,
the body has the ability to recover from emotional and physical trauma.

Unfortunately, most people don't understand the natural process of recovering
from trauma and actually interfere with it.  This is why many of us carry
emotional wounds for decades, wounds which adversely affect our mental,
emotional, social and even physical health.

Fortunately, healing is possible if you know how to get your "head" out of the
way and follow the wisdom of your heart and body.

In this free webinar, Steven Horne, RH(AHG) will explain the nature of trauma
and how to naturally recover from it.  Steven has more than 26 years in doing
emotional healing work and has helped hundreds of people heal from their
physical, emotional, sexual and endurance trauma.

Join us and learn what you can do to help yourself and others to greater
mental, emotional, physical and social well-being.

Practical Iridology Class
Webinar series taught by Steven Horne
January 10, 24, February 7, 28, March 14, 28, 2013
8:30 Easter, 7:30 Central, 6:30 Mountain and 5:30 Pacific time

This six-session class will teach you the all the basics of iridology,
a highly useful health assessment tool.  Specifically, we'll be covering:
  • The correct terms to describe all the anatomical structures of the iris
  • How to use iridology charts correctly
  • The most up-to-date terms for the various markings, signs and patterns
that appear in the iris, and what they mean
  • The various constitutional types from German iridology
  • Basic therapies to use with different iris patterns
  • The basic elements of Rayid iridology, a system of assessing
    personality issues using the iris
Most importantly, you'll be given a road map for how to look at the iris that begins
with the general and works towards the specific. You'll learn that you don't need to
pay close attention to every detail of the iris. Instead, you'll learn to group iris signs
and markings into body systems and rapidly identify what the weakest systems in
the body are likely to be. When you focus your efforts on these primary weaknesses
you are able to obtain faster and more dependable results.

Cost for this class is just $97. It's also free if you purchase our Practical Iridology
correspondence course.  Go to www.treelite.com to register or call 800-416-2887.

all of us involved in natural healing and how we can take advantage of it.

month trial. Start or stop at any time.

Register for the following free webinars and enhance
your knowledge of herbs and natural healing with Steven
Horne and The School of Modern Herbal Medicine.

Advanced Herbal Training (Free Preview)
Herbs for the Structural System

Free webinar with Steven Horne and Thomas Easley
Tuesday, Aug 14, 2012, 8:30 PM ET, 7:30 CT, 6:30 MT, 5:30 PT

People get injured all the time and modern medicine does wonders
with treating trauma. Doctors can set broken bones, stitch up
lacerations and even do reconstructive surgery.  What they can't
do is cause the tissues to actually heal. That's something the body
has to do, but it has to have the materials it needs to do it.

That's where natural healing can help. We can speed the healing
process in injuries, while easing pain and preventing or minimizing
scarring by using the right herbs and nutrients.

In this free introduction to Herbs for the Structural System, Module
Eight of our Advanced Herbal Training program, Steven Horne
and Thomas Easley will discuss herbs, nutrients and other natural
approaches to speeding the healing of tissues after injuries.

A Holistic Approach to Blood Chemistry
Free Webinar with Kimberly Balas, ND
Monday, Aug 27, 2012, 8:30 PM ET, 7:30 CT, 6:30 MT, 5:30 PT

Blood work is an incredibly valuable tool for assessing people's
health, but there is a lot more that can be learned from standard lab work
than even doctors are aware.  For example, when understood
properly, the blood reflects the quality of one’s nutritional choices,
the function of glands and organs, and how they relate to each other,
and the body’s response to physical, chemical and even emotional stress.

There are a lot of diet programs and nutritional advice out there,
but how can a person know what is going to be best for them?
The answers can be found by looking at the blood chemistry,
which gives us the information to really understand what is
going on in the body and what the body needs to balance itself
and create healing.

Register for this webinar and learn from Kimberly Balas, ND
how looking at the blood from a physiological, rather than a pathological,
viewpoint can guide a person to the right diet, supplements and
other natural healing tools they need.

Let's Set the Record Straight...

    risk of dying early.
  • A lack of the right kinds of fats (and fat soluble
vitamins) contributes to both heart disease and memory loss.
At this class you'll learn...
  • Natural ways to prevent heart disease, reduce blood
pressure and improve your cardiovascular system
without the side effects of drugs
  • How to protect your brain and keep your memory sharp.
